The center spring loaded bullet on the door striker (mounted on the door post) on 1941 Caddys frequently pops out. Has anyone found a solution to this common problem?
Hmm. I have not really looked at that part on mine. I assume it is original like most other parts of the car, so I'll take a look and see if I can learn anything. Other than that, I am not familiar with this problem. You might check with Ken Washwell of Xtreme of Bill Pappas; both fellow '41 owners.
